It’s no secret that land management is more popular than ever, but land managers, both novice and veteran, need to know where to go for the inside scoop on how to make their land better. Airing on the Pursuit Channel on Mondays at 6 p.m., Wednesdays at 9 p.m. and Saturdays at 12:30 a.m. is Mossy Oak’s GAMEKEEPERS.  A series dedicated to helping land managers get the most out of their property, Mossy Oak’s Kevin Tate had this to say about this highly-educational show:

“Our traditions began with the land, so to the land the GAMEKEEPERS of Mossy Oak return. The stewards and caretakers of hunting’s future are everywhere, doing what they can to preserve, protect and pass on. This series shares the spirit and emotion of the GAMEKEEPERS as they communicate invaluable knowledge about why and how to properly manage and care for the land. Planting, growing, returning and remembering all play a part in this incredible show. This week’s episode visits with a man in the Mississippi Delta who’s been managing his property for waterfowl for ages. The birds of the North return every winter to habitat they’ve come to call home. Those looking to boost their property’s waterfowl appeal definitely need to tune in.”

The Mossy Oak GAMEKEEPERS share the belief that being outdoors is about loving the land, its wildlife, and giving back more than you take. For more articles and information about managing land for wildlife, please visit farmingforwildlife.com.

Vacation Locations: Knowledge is Fun Too!

Most children (and adults, too) will either roll their eyes or sigh when, while speaking about vacation locations, the word “learning” just happens to be mentioned. Yes, it is a fact that school trips take all of us during our younger years to everything from museums to libraries to historic locations in order to teach us things we should know. But when thinking about your vacation, you should know that by considering journeying to a particular place that just happens to register high on the historical or educational meter, you could have even more fun.

Is Social Media Still Growing?

It was in 1999, Bill Gates wrote a book titled, “Business @ the Speed of Thought.” Within these pages, the man who became the computer world’s wizard made massively bold predictions that, at the time, sounded ridiculous and outrageous to those who read them. But when you look at how the social media realm has grown over the past few decades, it is important to take note that not only did his predictions from 1999 come true, but they are also responsible for seeing social media continue to grow by leaps and bounds to this day.

Besson Adapts Comic Book Series Novel into Hallucinogenic Sci-fi Spectacular

In 1997, Luc Besson released The Fifth Element, a visually-captivating sci-fi adventure which netted four Cesars, including Best Film and Best Director. A couple of decades later, Luc is back with Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, an even more innovative, outer space odyssey, if that’s possible. The groundbreaking extravaganza is based on “Valerian and Laureline,” a comic book series written by Pierre Christin and illustrated by Jean-Claude Mezieres.
