Predator Camo’s High Plains Jacket & Pants

Has Mother Nature finally met her match? Tested by hunters in climates all over the world, Predator Camo’s High Plains jackets and pants continue to perform.

High Plains is part of Predator’s OPT (Open Pattern Technology) series, which is designed for the hunter who wants a more athletic profile with high-tech fabrics. The 4-way softshell stretch fabric made of 82 percent Polyester and 18 percent CaptureSpandex is comfortable and easy to move around in, and at 300 grams is thick enough to protect against the chilly fall or spring air.

This combination of fabrics is 100 percent windproof, wicks perspiration away from your body,  and the DWS finish provides water repellency. A 100 percent Polyester microfleece liner provides warmth and yet ensures quiet walking and other movements. And here’s a plus: They are machine washable.

The High Plains jacket features 12-inch zippered underarm vents and a zippered front to allow for air circulation when it’s needed. A zipper garage at the top helps reduce neck irritation. Two exterior zippered pockets are water resistant, and the hook-and-loop cuffs can be adjusted. A drawstring at the bottom can be cinched up during bad weather or high wind conditions, or loosed when you want to let more air in.

Finally, a low-profile hood can be easily removed or replaced with a reinforced zipper attachment and Velcro tabs near the neckline.

The High Plains pants are quiet, comfortable and durable. Two zippered front pockets and a zippered back pocket are just the beginning for storing critical gear. A snap-top cargo pocket is matched by a front-facing zippered pocket for pocket-within-a-pocket convenience and protection. The fly features a two-way zipper.

Reinforced belt loops — perfect for those who prefer to wear suspenders — and a no-slip waistband assures your clothing ishigh plains pants securely held in place, and articulated knees help with the ease of movement.

High Plains jackets and pants are available in Brown Deception or 3D Deception and sell for $199.95 each. Find them  at www.predatorcamo.com.

If you’re looking for just the right accessory to add to your High Plains outfit, try Predator’s medium-weight Non-Typical Bow Gloves. These slim-profile gloves are built with a stretch fabric for flexibility and a soft inner fleece that provides warmth and cushion. They can be worn alone or layered in colder weather.

Finding Relaxation in the Most Remote Locations of All

It is a fact that the largest travel locations are also beyond popular. Among the downsides of this fact is that when you’re looking for peace, quiet, and basically a chance to do nothing more than spend time with yourself and, perhaps, one other best friend, the most popular places don’t offer that. In other words, it is the most remote (sometimes most beautiful) spots out there that you want to visit. If so, here are just a few that are there for the taking:

Add Value with Summer Home Renovation Projects

There are a whole list of summer activities for you and the kids planned. Most of them, of course, you want to be nothing but fun, such as grilling outside on the patio or swimming in the pool. However, having the backyard pool and patio are two things you really need in place before either of those activities could be enjoyed. And building this area could be a great summer project in order to not only get the house you really want, but add value to the home for a future sale.

Raunchy Adaptation of Classic TV Series Arrives on Home Video

Whenever a classic television series is made into a movie, the buzz always seems to be about whether the screen version will be a creative variation on the theme or merely a campy, cornball, take-the-money-and-run ripoff trading in familiar formulas and shopworn cliches. After all, for every inspired adaptation like Batman (1989), Charlie\’s Angels (2000) and 21 Jump Street (2012) there are just as many bitter disappointments, al a Dragnet (1987), I Spy (2002) and Get Smart (2008).
